7 Keyboard Shortcuts For File Menu Commands

 

Here are 7 great keyboard shortcuts to quickly perform file menu commands.

  1. Ctrl + N Create a new blank workbook.
  2. Ctrl + O Open the menu to open a saved workbook.
  3. Ctrl + S Save the current workbook or open the Save As menu is the file has not previously been saved.
  4. F12 Open the Save As menu.
  5. Ctrl + P Open the Print (Print Preview) menu for the current worksheet.
  6. Ctrl + W Close the current workbook.
  7. Alt + F4 Close Excel.
