Simple Invoice Template in Microsoft Excel

This is a straightforward billing invoice template with a bit of style. The template is designed to look like a ruled line notepad for a bit of fun.

The invoice table includes a quantity (QTY) and Unit Price column to allow for a detailed breakdown of the billed amount. A Description for the billed items can be added to the Description tab and then can be easily added from a drop-down list in the Invoice tab. The Amount column then displays the Quantity x Unit Price and this column is totaled at the bottom of the invoice in the Total.

It’s a good idea to send any invoice to a client in a format that can’t be changed, so saving the invoice as a PDF is the ideal solution. To save this as a PDF, simply go to File tab, then Save As then select PDF (*.pdf) from the file type drop-down option.
